It has become the solemn duty of the Majestic Funeral Homes family to serve notice that Mr. Charles Cromartie Jr., formerly of Elizabethtown entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 in Wilmington, DE.
Services commemorating this priceless gem will be held on Monday, December 27, 2021 in the A.B. Hobbs Memorial Chapel on the premises of Majestic Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, NC. Reflecting moments has been reserved by Mr. Cromartie’s family on the same day from 10am until 11am. Immediately following the visiting hours at 11am, “The Farewell Ceremony” will be called to order. Following the Order of Divine Worship, Mr. Charles’s delicate vessel along with his adored family will be escorted to the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Lisbon, NC for the Committal Rites. During these moments, family and friends can unite with the spirit of love and compassion to give comfort, as they begin to heal from loss of this vital link in their family’s chain.
Charles left to cherish his memories his three children: Vincent Cromartie, Katrina Cromartie Pierce and Sandra Anderson (Billy); three grandchildren: Robyn Cromartie, Jemel Anderson and Jordyn Pierce; one great grandchild: Kayden Anderson; his siblings: Mary Cromartie McKoy, Israel Cromartie, Sr. (Margaret) and Willie Cromartie, Sr. (Stella); one aunt: Donnie Johnnie Jackson; one uncle: Bennett Curtis Harvey; one brother-in-law: Thomas Martin and a host of other relatives and friends.
