It is with heavy hearts that the staff of Majestic Funeral Home & Cremations announce the earthly transition of Mr. Carlton C. Jones Jr., from this life to life eternal. Mr. Jones entered into everlasting rest on December 18, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Bladen County Hospital in Elizabethtown, NC.
Life and Legacy Services for Mr. Jones will commence with a public visitation on Monday, December 27, 2021 between the hours of 2pm and 3pm in the A.B. Hobbs Memorial Chapel on the premises of Majestic Funeral Home in the heart of Elizabethtown, NC. Immediately following the visiting hours at 3pm, A formal “farewell” celebration will be called to order. The man of God, Bishop Stanley Banks will be the chief Celebrant. Although Mr. Carlton exited this daily walk called life, those whom he loved and loved him can find solace knowing he has walked into the Garden of Rest where everyday is as peaceful and beautiful as a bright Sunday morning and the sunlight brightens the day from the rays of our Heavenly Father.
He leaves to cherish heartfelt memories his wife: Doris Brice, his children: Lamont Kelly, Carlton Conley (Joy), Louise Hayes (Jerome), Curtis Jones (Latoya), Aisha Banks (Mitch), NiKiya Jones and Jalesia Jones; stepchildren: Steven Hayes, Asmanda Lacewell (Darren), and Lorraine Hayes; forty grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; one special great granddaughter: Myaa Marie Glass; one brother: Robert Jones; one brother-in-law: Leon Hayes, Sr. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitors are being received at 66 Avery Ave., Bladenboro, NC where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Majestic Ebony Motorcade.
The Jones and connected families are being served with Genuine Compassion and Distinguished Class by the Majestic Servants of Service of Elizabethtown.
