The moment has come when the Majestic Family must pause and inform all that Mother Cora Elouise Bowen no longer resides on this side of the Jordan river. On Thursday morning, September 4, 2025, that Glorious ship of Zion, left the dock while she was resting in her residence in Bolton, NC with Mother Bowen on board, bound for Paradise.
Services reflecting Mother Bowen’s journey while on earth will begin with a visitation Thursday, September 11, 2025 between the hour of 11am and 12noon, as Mother Bowen rests in a tranquil state, for those who wish to pay their respect to her at the altar in the main sanctuary of Freewill Pentecostal Holiness Church of Christ in Lake Wacamaw, NC. The “Dash” Ceremony will be held also on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at 12noon at Freewill Pentecostal Holiness Church of Christ in Lake Wacamaw, NC. Following the celebratory events in the House of God, Mother Bowen’s earthen vessel along with her cherished family, will be escorted to the Freewill Church Cemetery in Lake Wacamaw, NC for Interment Rites. There, her physical temple will rest until time is called into eternity and all who’s spirit has crossed those celestial shores, shall reunite with their new body and reign with the Master forevermore.
Visitors are being received at 1133 Blacksmith Rd. Bolton, NC, where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Majestic Ebony Motorcade.
E.M. Matthews and The Compassionate Professionals at Majestic Funeral Homes are catering to the family’s every desire with uncompromising dignity.
