Father please give us the wisdom and knowledge needed, as we serve your children which are the remaining family members of Mother Catherine Lewis Walters affectionately known as “Ms. Cat”. Mrs. Catherine quietly began the long sleep in the arms of Jesus Christ on Friday, May 27, 2022 surrounded by her loving family at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC.
Thursday and Friday have been reserved to honor this loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend as the days to honor her life. A time to visit with Mother Walters and her adored family will be on Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 4pm until 6pm in the main chapel on the campus of Majestic Funeral Home in the heart of Elizabethtown, NC. Services to celebrate the life and legacy of Mother Walters, will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 beginning at 1pm at Round Branch Missionary Baptist Church in Bladenboro, NC. Following the order of service, Mother Catherine physical temple along with her cherished loved ones will be escorted to the Church Cemetery for Interment Rites. As difficult as it will be for Ms. Cat’s family and friends to say "farewell" on that day, God's love will give everyone comfort, knowing that she is now in the Royal Choir Loft, singing praises to the Lord all day long.
