Harold Douglas Richardson

In extreme sorrow, the staff of Majestic Funeral Homes are embracing the tender hearts of the family of Mr. Harold Douglas Richardson. Mr. Richardson received his angelic wings on Saturday afternoon, September 17, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his family.  

Moments have been etched in time for family and friends to pay homage to Mr. Richardson, as he rests in tranquil repose at the altar in St. Rest Holiness Church on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 from 12noon until 1pm. Commencing at 1pm, a Service of Remembrance will take place also at St. Rest Holiness Church in the Johnsontown Community of Elizabethtown, NC. Immediately following the farewell celebration, Mr. Richardson’s physical vessel and his cherished family will be escorted to the Richardson Family Cemetery on Jack Richardson Rd. for Committal Rites. As difficult as this is for Mr. Douglas’ loved ones to endure this tremendous loss, consolation comes knowing that God promised to be closer than a husband, father, grandfather,brother or friend when each of them are no longer with us. If God said it, then that settles it and He will fulfill His promises for this precious family, being anything they need just when they need it the most. 

Left to cherish Mr. Richardson’s fond memories is his loving and devoted wife: Selma Richardson; his son: LeRon Richardson; five sisters: Pastor Thelma Hammonds, Elmer Rhodie, Doris Newell, Daffe Owens and Noraine Peterson; two brothers: Joseph Richardson and John B. Richardson; eleven grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. 

Guests are being received at the residence located at 403 Jack Richardson Rd. Elizabethtown, NC, where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Majestic Ebony Motorcade.
