Deaconess Lila R. Galloway

Father, please give us the wisdom and knowledge needed, as we serve your children which are the remaining family members of Deaconess Lila Ruth Galloway. Deaconess Galloway quietly began the long sleep in the arms of Jesus Christ on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.

Saturday has been reserved as the day to honor this loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. A time to visit with Deaconess Galloway and her adored family will be on Saturday, December 21, 2024, from 12 Noon until 1 p.m. at Greater St. Matthew Holiness Church located at 7201 Old Fayetteville Road in Garland, NC. Services to celebrate the life and legacy of Lila will begin at 1 p.m. also at Greater St. Matthew Holiness Church in Garland, NC. Following the divine worship in the sanctuary, Deaconess Galloway's delicate temple, along with her cherished family, will be escorted to Johnson Family Cemetery in the Johnsontown Community in Elizabethtown, NC for Interment Rites. As difficult as it will be for Lila’s family and friends to say "farewell" on that day, God's love will give everyone comfort, knowing that she is now in the Royal Choir Loft, singing praises to the Lord all day long.
