Alvin Lewis Pemberton Jr.

Alvin Lewis Pemberton Jr. was born in Luxembourg Germany. Alvin has been a Resident of Delco since 1983. He was known as "Big Al.” Alvin started working at 15 doing odd jobs and construction and drove a truck for the last 37 years. Alvin was Preceded in death by his Wife: Theresa Pemberton; Father: Alvin Lewis Pemberton; Mother: Brunhild Hochfedt; Step father: Henry H. Giles III; Sister: Bridgette Cox "BB"; and Daughter: Angela "Angie" Pemberton.  He is Survived by one Daughter: Christy Pemberton; one Son: Alvin Pemberton; two Brothers: Scott Pemberton and Henry H. Giles IV; one Sister Frances Lowery and husband Marshall and a host of Numerous grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Commencing at 12noon on Sunday, September 18, 2022 a Service of Remembrance will take place in the main Chapel on the premises of Majestic Funeral Home in Riegelwood, NC. As difficult as it is to accept Big Al no longer being present physically, all can find solace knowing that God promised to wipe away all tears from this family’s eyes as they continue to cope with a missing link in their family’s chain.
