Prophetess Katie Mae Williams Obituary

As the Angelic Hosts rejoices with the arrival of another Annointed woman of God, those who remain to endure have heavy hearts and indescribable sadness as a result of this tremendous loss. Prophetess Katie Mae Williams gently laid her head in the Master’s arms and went to sleep in Paradise on Wednesday morning, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, surrounded by her devoted children and family.

The Glorious and Amazingly beautiful Life Celebration events have been methodically orchestrated and will proceed in the following order. Beginning on Friday, October 19, 2018 between the crisp autumn hours of 6pm and 8pm, a public gathering will come forth as Prophetess Williams lies in a tranquil repose atop of an ornate golden casket bier engulfed in the essence of beauty, just as a bride awaits her groom in the main chapel of the Elizabethtown location of Majestic Funeral Homes.  Visitors will be greeted by a formally dressed Majestic Servant of Service, whose sole purpose is to cater to the needs of the Williams family and those who have come to share love with their precious jewel.  On Saturday, October 20, 2018 being called to order promptly at 1 o’clock Post Meridian, the Angelic Obsequious fit for Heaven’s Royal Priesthood will take place at Elizabethtown Middle School Gymnasium in Elizabethtown, NC.  At the conclusion of the Triumphant “Send Off”, Prophetess Williams along with adored relatives will be escorted to her earthly waiting room called Bladen Memorial Gardens until her name is called to receive her crown of Righteousness . Now that she has finally met the Man she has witnessed to others about for so many years and been honored to sit at the feet of the one she prayed to, not to mention beholding the beauty of the one she taught her children about, her spirit is satisfied and when the trumpet is sounded and the sky opens once and for all, the Master Himself will call her name saying Katie “you’ve been faithful, you’ve been true and you’ve done all you could ever do and for your faithfulness, ITS YOUR TIME.

Katie leaves to cherish her loving memories:  an ever glowing light of love, her husband of fifty-seven years,  Jimmy Williams; one daughter:  Mary Michelle Williams of Bladenboro, NC; three sons:  Jimmy Tyrone Williams  of  Elizabethtown, NC, Rodney Maurice Williams (Vicky) both of Elizabethtown, NC and Willie Earl Williams (Christina) of Germany; one stepdaughter:  Shirley    Butler of Madison, GA; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; three sisters: Rena Johnson-Rhodie and Teresa Jones, both of Elizabethtown, NC and Connie Murphy (Donnell) of Maryland; two brothers: Thaddeus Johnson (Barbara) of New Jersey and Ernest Perkins (Brenda); two aunts:  Rebecca Dixon  of Council, NC and  Mildred Whitted of White Lake, NC; one brother in-law:  Theodore Cartwright (Eva); one goddaughter:  Cheryl Best Perryman and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, friends and a host of spiritual daughters and sons.

Guests are being received at the residence of her son Mr. Maurice Williams located at 105 South Owen St., Elizabethtown, N.C.
