Submitting to the predestined will of God, our personal and funeral home family are consoling the remaining loved ones of Prophetess Betty Capers as they attempt to cope with this great loss. The Capers’ family circle was forever changed early Thursday morning when Mrs. Betty quietly went to sleep in the bosom of Jesus Christ at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.
The services that will honor this priceless jewel have been orchestrated by her devoted sister and family and will begin on Sunday evening, November 4, 2018 between the hours of 6pm and 8pm for reflecting moments during an inspirational wake at United Faith Ministries Apostolic Church in Elizabethtown, NC. On Monday, November 5, 2018, a Triumphant Grand Finale remembering this virtuous woman will commence at 1pm Graham Chapel AME Zion Church in Riegelwood, NC. Following the order of divine worship in the sanctuary, Mrs. Capers’ delicate temple along with her adored family will be escorted to the Graham Chapel Church Cemetery for Committal Rites. One can only imagine the void Mrs. Betty’s family will have doing things that once involved her but all can find solace knowing that this world was simply a dressing room. Now she has received her glorious crown of righteousness and beautiful custom long white robe and she is walking the streets paved with pure gold awaiting that day when she will see all of her loved ones yet again in glory.
Prophetess Capers leaves to mourn two sisters: Sandra Ojo of Elizabethtown, NC and Joan George of Whiteville, NC; one sister in-law: Evangelist Delilah Capers; two aunts: Evangelist Frances Owens Speights of New York; a special goddaughter: Avah Bland and a host of nieces, nephews, and godchildren and friends.
The family is receiving love and encouragement through visits and calls at the residence located at 2905 Airport Rd. Elizabethtown, NC where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Majestic Ebony Motorcade.
The Compassionate Professionals at Majestic Funeral Homes are humbled to be a part of this precious family and serve them with uncompromising dignity and love during this difficult time.
