Ms. Mary Alice Miller

With heavy hearts and solemn emotions, the loved ones of Ms. Mary Miller are preparing to say “so long” to a vital link to their family’s chain and are being assisted with this difficult task by the Majestic Family.  Ms. Miller went down to the ticketing office at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville, NC on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 and the train conductor Jesus Christ issued her a boarding pass bound for life eternal.

Services to commemorate the legacy of Ms. Mary will begin with a public visitation on Monday, August 6, 2018 between the hours of 5pm and 7pm here at the funeral establishment where Ms. Miller will lie in repose to receive visitors. The events will climax with a Life Celebration Ceremony on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 11am at Mt. Olive AME Zion Church in the Mt. Olive community of Elizabethtown, NC. The man of God, Pastor Haywood Oliver will be the chief Celebrant. Following the Celebration in the house of God, Ms. Miller along with her adored family will be escorted to the Mt. Olive church Cemetery for Interment Rites. During these “so-long” events, those in attendance will be able to bring some closure during this moment of sadness while relying on their faith in the Master to see them through the difficult days that lie ahead.

 Left to cherish fond memories are:  her three children:  Adrian Maurice Riggins (Brenda) of Brooklyn NY, Gregory Riggins of Fayetteville, NC and Harvey Miller of Elizabethtown, NC; seven grandchildren:  Nikeem Riggins ,Niketia Wright,   Malik Andrews, Tyreek Riggins, Tylik Andrews, Thunder Miller and Rayne Miller; two great-grandchildren; three sisters:  Virginia Thomas, Vivian Willis and Cleretta Riggins, all of Elizabethtown, NC; three brothers:  Gilbert Riggins of Raeford, NC, Michael Riggins of Brooklyn, NY and Lafayette Riggins of Elizabethtown, NC;  a special friend, Mrs. Earlene Blue of Elizabethtown, NC formerly Brooklyn, NY; lots of friends in Brooklyn, NY; two brothers-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

The family is receiving guests at 2806 Mercer Mill Rd., Elizabethtown, NC where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Majestic Ebony Funeral Motorcade.
