With an abundance of love and concern, the Majestic Family is embracing the heartbroken loved ones of Ms. Marcia Alston as they prepare to say “Farewell” to this precious jewel. Ms. Alston closed the curtains on this journey called life on Monday, August 6, 2018 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC.
On Sunday, August 12, 2018 from 10am until 12noon in the A.B. Hobbs Memorial Chapel on the campus of Majestic Funeral Establishment, those who wish to pay homage to Ms. Alston and her loving family may join them for moments of reflection. It is during these hours that all who gather can embrace each other realizing that God is still in charge and He will heal all broken hearts from this tremendous loss. The Bible teaches us that the strong shall bare the infirmities of the weak, therefore every person that steps through the threshold on that day to support this heartbroken family will take a piece of the load from Ms. Marcia’s sons, therefore helping them begin to heal.
Marcia leaves to celebrate her life and to cherish her memories: her children: Rashad Whitted Alston and Craig Bromell; sisters: Pamela Alston of Marion, SC, Carol Brown-Smith (Kenny), Sheri Brown and Terri Brown, all of New York, NY, Stephanie Y. Brown of Atlanta, GA and Florence Brown of San Antonio, TX; one brother: Julius D. Brown (Gail), Sr. of Charleston, SC; several brothers and sisters-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The Family is receiving visitors at the residence located at 1108 Williams St., Elizabethtown, NC during this difficult time.
The Alston and connected families are being gingerly cared for by the Compassionate Professionals of Majestic Funeral Home.
