Ms. Anita M. Greene

Bowing in humbled submission to the will of our Heavenly Father, it has become the solemn responsibility of Majestic Funeral Home to inform all, that Ms. Anita M. Greene is now resting in paradise. Ms. Greene put down the cares of this life on Monday in Durham, NC.

On Monday August 19, 2019 between the hours of 6pm and 8pm, Anita will lie in peaceful repose at Majestic Funeral Homes’ Riegelwood Campus. During these intimate moments, those special to Ms. Anita and her adored family, can support each other as they begin the healing process due to this tragic loss. A Service Of Remembrance will be held on Tuesday August 20, 2019 at 11am at Mt. Pleasant AME Zion Church in the Armour Community of Riegelwood, NC. Following the life honoring services in the sanctuary, Ms. Greene and her cherished family, will be escorted to Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery for Interment Rites. No parent ever plans to say “goodbye” to their child, however, the peace that surpasses all understanding has undergirded this loving mother, father and family and will sustain them, as they realize that God will hold them in the hollow of His compassionate hands.

Life long memories will forever be remembered by her mother Felicia Jacobs Greene; her father Eddie Greene; her special and precious godchildren: Alexis, Christian and Adrian; her brother Eddie Greene Jr.; her devoted aunt Portia T. Jacobs and her loving grandmother Connie B. Jacobs, along with a host of other relatives and friends. 

Visitors are being received at the residence located at 3400 General Howe Rd., Riegelwood, NC, where they will assemble for the Prestigious Majestic Ebony Motorcade.
