Mrs. Teasie M. Nance

With tender hands of compassion and genuine hearts of love, the Majestic Family joins with the devoted loved ones of Mrs. Teasie M. Nance as they prepare to say “until we meet again”. Mrs. Nance was greeted by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, along with others others among the Heavenly Host , as she quietly left Baltimore, MD this past Tuesday.

Moments for family and friends to visit with Mrs. Teasie’s earthen vessel has been designated take place on Thursday evening, between the hours of 6pm and 8pm at Majestic Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. The Triumphant Life and Legacy Celebration, will be held on Friday at Mt. Olive AME Zion Church in  Elizabethtown, commencing at 1pm. Following the services in the sanctuary, Mrs. Nance along with her cherished family will be escorted to the family cemetery for Interment Rites. Those that knew Mrs. Teasie knew she was a beautiful spirit. Now there is a vital link forever missing in her family’s chain. The silver lining in this great loss, is realizing that she has finally met the Man, she has read about for many years in the sixty-six books of the Holy Writ and she is strolling the Gold paved streets of Glory, never to Labor in this fitful world anymore. 

Beautiful memories will be forever etched in the hearts of her family beginning with her children: Shawn Jackson, Andre Purdie and Lemart Purdie; sisters: Linda Jean Hyden, Mary Kellan, Graham Lewis and Marie Smith; along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. 

Guests are being received at the residence located at 118 Lewis Dr. Elizabethtown, NC, where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Majestic Ebony Motorcade.
