With loving arms of compassion the Majestic Funeral Home Family is consoling the heartbroken loved ones of Mrs. Ruthie Mae Smith as they prepare to take a journey that no family wishes to take. Mrs. Smith closed the curtains of life Sunday night at her residence in Riegelwood, NC. On Friday between the hours of 6pm and 8pm, Mrs. Smith will lie in peaceful repose for those who wish to spend moments with her at Majestic Funeral Home in Riegelwood. The “Dash” between Mrs. Smiths' year of birth and year of leaving this world will be honored on Saturday at 2pm at St. Paul AME Zion Church in Bolton, NC. Following the Order of Divine Worship in the sanctuary, Mrs. Smith's delicate temple along with her cherished relatives will be escorted to the Freeman Community Cemetery in Bolton, NC for Interment Rites. Although it will be a major adjustment for Mrs. Smiths’ adored children with her no longer being present to enjoy precious moments, all can find comfort realizing she is sitting at the Welcome Table with all of the saints that have gone on before her, beholding the Master’s Glory as she receives her golden keys and her crown of righteousness.
Left to cherish her memories are her three daughters: Pansy Pollard, Ava Smith and Carola Smith; five grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Guests are being received at 106 Canal Ext. Rd., Riegelwood, NC where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Majestic Ebony Motorcade.
The Compassionate Professionals of Majestic Funeral Homes are serving the Smith and connected families with uncompromising dignity.
