Mrs. Patricia McKoy Melvin

Bowing in humbled submission to the will of our Heavenly Father, it has become the solemn responsibility of Majestic Funeral Homes to inform all, that Mrs. Patricia McKoy Melvin is now resting in paradise. Mrs. Melvin put down the cares of this life Wednesday, December 4, 2019, while she was in Georgia. 

On Friday, December 13, 2019 between the hours of 6pm and 8pm, Mrs. Melvin will lie in peaceful repose at Majestic Funeral Homes’ Elizabethtown Campus. During these intimate moments, those special to Mrs. Pat and her adored family, can support each other as they begin the healing process due to this tremendous loss. A Service Of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 11am at First Missionary Baptist Church in Elizabethtown, NC. Following the life honoring services in the sanctuary, Mrs. Melvin and her cherished family, will be escorted to Mt. Zion AME Zion Church Cemetery for Interment Rites. No child ever plans to say “goodbye” to their mother, however, the peace that surpasses all understanding has undergirded this loving daughter, grandchildren, brother and family and will sustain them, as they realize that God will hold them in the hollow of His compassionate hands.
