With Consoling hearts the Majestic Family is assisting the precious loved ones of Mrs. Nina Bowen as they prepare to say “Farewell” to this virtuous woman.
The Legacy Remembering events will commence on Thursday evening between the hours of 6pm and 7pm at Graham Chapel AME Zion Church in East Arcadia, NC for moments of visitation and reflection. At 11 o’clock Friday morning, a Triumphant Obsequious will begin also at Graham Chapel AME Zion Church. Following the Order of Divine worship in the sanctuary, Mrs. Bowen’s delicate vessel along with her adored family will be escorted to the church cemetery for Interment Rites. There's nothing like a "good mother" who loves the Lord and her family, always teaches them the Christian way. The love and values that she has forever etched in the hearts an minds of her children and other relatives will encourage them although she is now in the company of our Heavenly Father, resting in everlasting peace beyond the sky.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: her children: Carl (Annette) Blanks, Darlene Bowen, Lutricia Bowen, Nathan Bowen, Jr., Charlie (Charlene) Bowen; grandchildren: Rolanda (Samuel) Perry, Jeffery Bowen, Reginald Bowen, LaManda Blanks; great-grands: LaRanda Blanks, Terrell Bowen, Shatyla Ripley, Lexius Jeffcoat; great-great Grands: Amina Bowen, Jayla Ripley; brother: Sherman (Mary) Blanks; sister-in-law: Mary Etta Graham; brother-in-law: Arthur Sanders; a special love for Harry Graham; godson: Hakeem (Trelena) Brown; special nieces: Sadie Bowen & Gwendolyn Henderson; special friends: Betty Brown & Family, Daniels Family, Dorothy Graham, Vina Jacobs and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Guests are being received at the residence located at 554 Graham Rd., Riegelwood, NC where they will also assemble in preparation for the Majestic Ebony Motorcade.
