With an abundance of sympathy, the Majestic Funeral Home Family announces to all that Mrs. Louise Mitchell no longer answers to her name on this side because she answered her Heavenly Father’s summons on Tuesday morning at Columbus Regional Hospital in Whiteville, NC.
The “Last Mile” events between Mrs. Mitchell and her precious loved ones will be begin with visiting moments on Monday from 12pm to 1pm at First New Light Baptist Church in White Oak, NC. The celebratory events will climax with a Glorious Service of Remembrance on Monday at 1pm at the church. Following the services in the sanctuary, Mrs. Mitchell's delicate vessel along with her adored family will be escorted to the Holy Bethel Church Cemetery for Interment Rites. Yes this is as far as Mrs. Louise's children and relatives can trod with her on this side of eternity, however, they can find solace understanding she is now in that land flowing with milk and honey and the King of Kings is present with all the saints that have made it in each and every day.
Louise leaves to cherish her fond memories: two sons: Donald (Charmonia) Mitchell of Elizabethtown, NC and Steve Hardy of Chicago, IL; two daughters: Carolyn (James) Brown of Clarkton, NC and Yvonne (Earl) Hall of Bladenboro, NC; fourteen grandchildren: Shaday, Gregory, Whitney, Kayla, Samantha, Donald, Dennis, Justin, Benjamin, Ashley, AJ, Destinee, Alexis and Marvin; five great-grandchildren: Josh, Donald Jr., Jada, Majhir and Aisha; five sisters: Hazel Leach, Alene Hatcher, Annie Mae Whitfield, Helen (Linwood) Anthony, Bessie Leavens and Avis Smith; two brothers: Arthur (Maggie) Munn and Jessie Munn; a mother-in–law: Flora Mitchell of Elizabethtown, NC; four brothers-in-law; eight sisters-in-law; three special friends: Wanda Hunt Jones, Gloria Davis, Dexter Phillips and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitors are being received at the residence located at 6131 NC 211 W. Bladenboro, NC where they will also assemble in preparation for the Majestic Motorcade.
