With tender hands of compassion and genuine hearts of love, the Majestic Family joins with the devoted loved ones of Mrs. Grace L. Porter as they prepare to say “until we meet again." Mrs. Porter was greeted by her loving Savior Jesus Christ along with others in the Heavenly Host on Saturday evening, October 13, 2018 as she quietly left her residence in the Armour Community of Riegelwood, NC.

Services Remembering a Life Well-Lived will begin with a public gathering and visitation on Saturday, October 20, 2018 between the moments of 5pm and 7pm in the newly renovated Majestic Funeral Home of Riegelwood,NC where Mrs. Porter will lie in peaceful repose. The events will climax with a Service of Honoring this special gem on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 4pm at Mt. Pleasant AME Zion Church in the Armour Community of Riegelwood, NC. The Pastor, Rev. T. Kendall will be the Celebrant-in-Chief. Afterwhich, Mrs. Porter and her adored family will be escorted to the Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery for Commital Rites. It is in this place that her physical temple will remain until time is called into eternity and those who are sleep in Christ will rise first to meet Him in the air.

Grace leaves to cherish her loving memories: her loving husband of sixty-two years, Moses Porter; two daughters: Danita (Robert) Page and Danette (Harold) Ward; nine grandchildren: Chenoah, Dominique, Jessica, Sharice, Demetria, Bonnie, Richard, Sheila and Gregory; twelve great-grandchildren: Nasir, Jalee, Cameron, Carley, Cayla, Jamin, Brianna, Myasia, Dominque, Damien, Fabian, Janae; three great-grandchildren: Alliyah, Amir and Zymir; in-laws: Clemon (Ella) Porter, Lloyd Porter and Aquilla White.

Guests are being received at the residence located at 1535 Sand Hole Rd. Riegelwood, NC where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Majestic Ebony Motorcade.
