The moment in time has arrived and the Majestic Funeral Home Family has been asked to announce to all that as of August 21, 2019, Mrs. Bernice Spaulding Smith has permanently changed her address to 777 Highway 7, in that beautiful city called Heaven.
The Legacy Remembering events will commence on Sunday afternoon August 25, 2019 for moments of visitation and reflection from 1pm until 2pm as Mrs. Smith rests in peaceful repose at the altar in the sanctuary of Freewill Holiness Church in Lake Waccamaw, NC. At 2pm a Triumphant Obsequies will begin for Mrs. Smith. Following the Order of Divine worship in the House of God, Mrs. Smith’s delicate vessel along with her adored family will be escorted to the Church Cemetery for Interment Rites. There’s nothing like a “good mother.” The values that she has etched in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives will sustain them although she is now in the company of our Heavenly Father resting in everlasting peace beyond the sky.
Left to cherish her memories are her five daughters: Lutricia Mitchell (John), Marier Smith Harris (Keith), Benita LaForte', Eloise Bowen and Kaythelia Bowen; three sons: Paul Spaulding (Juanita), Tim Spaulding (Angela) and Elisha Smith (Misty); two sisters: Lula Hooks (Tommy) and Rebecca Templin (Charles) four brothers: Homer Spaulding, Norman Spaulding (Meredia), Monroe Spaulding (Marie) and Rex Spaulding (Lisa) and a host of grands, great grands and great-great grands, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Guests are being received at the residence located at 216 Country Club Rd., Whiteville, NC where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Majestic Ebony Motorcade.
The Compassionate Professionals of Majestic Funeral Homes are catering to the individual requests of the Smith and connected families with uncompromising dignity.
