Mr. Sidney Joe Lanier

At the request of those left to cherish loving memories, Majestic Funeral Home Family serves notice that Mr. Sidney J. Lanier has ceased from troubling with the cares of this world. On Friday, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Mr. Lanier peacefully departed this life and entered into everlasting peace.

Life Honoring Services have been delicately planned by Mr. Sidney’s family. On Saturday afternoon, between the moments of 1pm and 3pm, family and friends may gather to reflect on loving memories while comforting one another during this time of sadness. Commencing at 3pm a ceremony commemorating the “Life Sketch”  of Mr. Lanier will take place in the Majestic Life Celebration Chapel located on the campus of Majestic Funeral Home. 

He leaves to cherish his precious memories:  his sisters:  Sabrina R. Forrest (Ashley) of Lawnside, N.J and Gwen   Richards (George) of Dupont, WA,   Sharon Brown (James) of CA, Patricia Brown of NY and Ann Linder of NC; brothers:  Kenneth Lanier El (Susan) of Pompano Beach, FL, Joe Lanier of NY, Gary  Lanier (Joane) of NJ and William Lewis. Jr. of Brooklyn, NY; a special nephew:  Xavier Lewis and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
