Mr. Nelson Bryant

With tender hands of compassion and genuine hearts of love, the Majestic Family joins with the devoted loved ones of Mr. Nelson Bryant as they prepare to say “until we meet again."  Mr. Bryant was greeted by his loving Savior Jesus Christ along with others in the Heavenly Host Monday afternoon as he quietly left University Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Charlotte, NC.

Mr. Bryant’s family has reserved Friday and Saturday, May 18th and 19th as the days to celebrate his life.  Commencing on Friday from 5pm to 8pm at Love Faithfully Ministries in Leland, NC,  family and friends may gather to reminisce on lasting memories while visiting with Mr. Nelson.  The events will climax on Saturday at 1pm with a Triumphant Farewell Celebration also at Love Faithfully Ministries in Leland, NC. Following the formalities in the sanctuary, Mr. Bryant’s earthen vessel along with his adored family will be escorted to the Northwest Community Cemetery for Committal Rites.  As difficult as it will be for his daughter and family to dismiss from this earthly resting place without Nelson, all will find solace knowing he is in that land where there is a tree and its leaves are good for the healing of all infirmities.  There, he will rest by the brook flowing with living water, forever resting in eternal paradise.

He leaves to cherish fond memories with his devoted and loving daughter:  Lolita Hill; three grandchildren:  Sakala, Latrell and Erin Hill; three great grandchildren:  Harmony Tillman, Kylia and Korddel Myers; one brother:  Thomas Earl (Rita) Bryant of Louisburg, NC; five sisters:  Antoinette (Hezekiah) Nixon of Wilmington, NC, Jacqueline Hill, Lenora and Barbara Bryant all of Northwest, NC and Teletha Gibbs of Burgaw, NC; five aunts:  Rose Ann (Alfred) Bryant of Springhill, NC, Josephine (Thesslonia)    Harris, Mary (Butler) Johnson, Loretta Teachey, Lorraine Bryant all of New York and Christine Vernon of Northwest; one uncle:  Robert (Shirley) Bryant of Northwest.  Nelson has been blessed since 2007 with a supportive caregiver/cousin, Pernell Knox and John Ballard who has been an amazing father figure to him for many years.  He has a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  He will be missed by all of his family and friends.

The family is receiving guests at 4305 Sawmill Rd.,NE Leland, NC where they will also assemble in preparation for the Majestic Ebony Motorcade.
