Mr. Larry McKoy Jr.

With many mixed emotions and understandable broken hearts, the Majestic Funeral Home Family joins with the family of Mr. Larry McKoy Jr. as they prepare to say “Until We Reunite."  Mr. McKoy transitioned from this life on Friday, January 10, 2020 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC.

Celebration of Life events will be held on Friday, January 17, 2020 beginning with a visitation at Majestic Funeral Home Chapel in Elizabethtown, NC between the hours of 6pm and 8pm.  A Service of Remembrance will take place on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 12noon, also at the Chapel.  Following the order of service, Mr. McKoy's physical temple along with his cherished loved ones will be escorted to the True Vine Holiness Church Cemetery in Clarkton, NC for Interment Rites. 

Boyz to Men said it best when they put pen to parchment and wrote these heartfelt lyrics: " How does this family say goodbye to what they had; the good times that made those special to Larry laugh will always outweigh the bad; his mother, siblings, family and friends thought they’d get to see forever, but since this past Friday forever has gone away.....it’s so hard to say goodbye to yesterday.”  

Left to cherish his memories are his mother, Margaret Burton Richardson, his father, Larry McKoy Sr.,his son, Xayden McKoy, his sisters: Tonya McKoy and Myeshia McKoy; his brothers: Michael McKoy and Robert Jessup Jr.; special uncles: Jasper Burton, Calvin Burton, Timothy McKoy and Michael McKoy; special aunts: Annie Ruth Johnson McKoy and Sylvia Jane Council and a host of additional aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Majestic Funeral Home in Elizabethtown is attending to the delicate needs of the McKoy and connected families during these emotional moments in their lives.
