Mr. James H. Webb Obituary

With heavy hearts and solemn emotions, the loved ones of Mr. James Herman Webb are preparing to say “so long” to a vital link to their family’s chain and are being assisted with this difficult task by the Majestic Funeral Homes Family.  Mr. Webb went down to the ticketing office while in Columbus Regional Medical Center in Whiteville, NC on Friday, November 23, 2018 and the train conductor, Jesus Christ, issued him a boarding pass bound for life in Paradise.

Services to commemorate the legacy of Mr. James will begin with a public visitation on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 between the hours of 5pm and 7pm where Mr. Webb will lie in a tranquil repose in the main chapel of Majestic Funeral Home in Riegelwood, NC located at 5719 Old Stage Hwy. The events will climax with an intimate Obsequies on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 1pm at Union Baptist Church in Lake Waccamaw, NC.  The man of God, Rev. Greg Spaulding will be the Chief Celebrant.  Following the celebration in the house of God, Mr. Webb along with his adored family will be escorted to the Union Baptist Church Cemetery for Interment Rites. During these “so-long” events, those in attendance will be able to bring some sense of closure during this moment of sadness while relying on their faith in the Master to see them through the difficult days that lie ahead.

Jimmy leaves to cherish his memories: his beloved wife of 48 years, Avey Blanks Webb; three children:  James Lloyd Webb (Jasmin), Ava Webb and Monica Webb-Shackleford (Keith); six grandchildren:  James Webb, Sean Webb, Jewel Webb, Erin Webb, Jaylah Webb and Joseph Burney; his sister:  Winnie Webb Lloyd; his brother:  Von Thomas Webb; one nephew:  Leon Lloyd; four nieces: Darlene Webb, Phyllis Webb, Josette Lloyd and Janine Lloyd; five godchildren:  Alan Miller, Jr., Trint Freeman, Henry Blanks, Tyrese Livingston and Tyra Livingston. He is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Leon Lloyd, and sister-in-law, Agnes Mitchell Webb.

The family is receiving guests at 1638 Blacksmith Rd. Bolton, NC where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Majestic Ebony Funeral Motorcade.

The Compassionate Professionals of Majestic are working diligently to provide the Webb and connected families the unconditional love and support needed to make it through this journey.
