With many having mixed emotions and understandably broken hearts, the Majestic Family has been given the solemn duty to serve notice that Mr. James McKoy no longer has to tolerate life’s fitful fevers. Mr. McKoy stepped out of life’s backdoor early Sunday morning at Cape Fear Valley Bladen County Hospital in Elizabethtown, NC.
Life and Legacy Services for Mr. McKoy will commence with a public visitation on Friday between the hours of 6pm and 8pm in the A.B. Hobbs Remembrance Chapel located on the campus of Majestic Funeral Establishment. A formal “farewell” celebration will take place on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 3 o’clock post meridian at Zion Chapel AME Zion Church in Kelly, NC. Immediately following the formalities in the House of Worship, Mr. McKoy’s earthen vessel along with his cherished family will be escorted to the Lagoon Community Cemetery for Interment Rites. Although Mr. James exited this daily walk called life, those whom he loved and loved him can find solace knowing he has walked into the Garden of Rest where everyday is as peaceful and beautiful as a bright Sunday morning and the sunlight brightens the day from the rays of our Heavenly Father.
