With determination to provide genuine comfort during this difficult moment in a mother and family’s life, the Majestic Family has been charged with the solemn duty to advise all that Mr. James George Sr. has transitioned from this life into life eternal as of Wednesday afternoon at Vidant Duplin Medical Center in Kenansville, NC.
The heartbreaking task of planning the Life Remembering services for Mr. George have been finalized and will commence on Saturday evening, from 6pm until 8pm for moments of reflection at Cedar Point Disciples Church in Newton Grove. Mr. George’s family will climax his life remembrance with a “Loving Farewell” Ceremony on Sunday also at Cedar Point Disciples Church located at 1258 Cedar Point Rd. Newton Grove, NC commencing at 2pm. Mr. George’s physical temple will rest entombed at Wayne Memorial Park in Dudley, NC. As hard as it will be for Mr. James’ loved ones to depart without him, God our Heavenly Father promised to give peace that will surpass all of our understanding even in the midst of grief and sorrow. The hymnologist said it best... when he put pen to parchment writing....We’ll understand it better all by and by.”
A life time of precious memories will forever live in the hearts of his loving and devoted wife of more than 60 years Connie George, his daughters: Deborah Truzy (Elder Nathaniel) , Angeline George, Barbara George and Edith George; sons: David Cox (Donna), Larry George, James George Jr. (Crystal), Minister Ronald George (Cindy) and Michael George (Tywanna); 23 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one brother David George (Shirley); two sisters: Mary Leach and Joyce George; one adopted son Dennis Williams, one adopted daughter and caregiver Sharon Murray; two sister-in-laws: Retha George and Malaria Davis and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
The family is receiving guests at the residence, where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Majestic Ebony Motorcade.
All expressions of love through floral arrangements can be delivered to Cedar Point Disciples Church located at 1258 Cedar Point Rd. Newton Grove, NC from 4pm until 8pm on Saturday.
