Mr. Delford James Freeman

With an abundance of sympathy, the Majestic Funeral Home Family announces to all that Mr. Delford Freeman no longer answers to his name on this side because he answered his Heavenly Father’s summons on Monday afternnon at his residence in Riegelwood, NC.

The “Last Mile” events between Mr. Freeman and his precious loved ones will begin with visiting moments on Sunday, July 15, 2018 from 6pm to 8pm at Graham Chapel AME Zion Church in Riegelwood, NC.  The celebratory events will climax with a Glorious Service of Remembrance on Monday, July 16 at 1pm also at Graham Chapel AME Zion Church. Pastor William Peterson will serve as the Chief Celebrant.  Following the services in the house of God, Mr. Freeman’s physical temple along with his cherished family, will be escorted to the Graham Chapel Church Cemetery for Interment Rites. Yes this is as far as Mr. Delford’s wife, children and relatives can trod with him on this side of eternity. However, they can find solace understanding he is now in that land flowing with milk and honey and the King of Kings is present with all the saints that have made it over and each are praising our Savior all the day long.

Delford leaves to cherish his loving memories:  his wife:  Marie L.   Freeman of the home; daughter:  Katrina F, King of Raleigh, NC; son:  James (Rudy) Freeman (Tiffany) of East Arcadia, NC; a godchild:  Lakeisha Lennon (Quran) of Winston Salem, NC;  grandchildren:  Trineka Hayes of Raleigh, NC; Monterro Graham, Jr. of Grand Fork Air Force Base, ND; De’ Meare Freeman of East Arcadia, NC; great-grandson:  Juhstice Washington of Raleigh, NC; sisters: Elizabeth Perry of Atlanta, GA and Sarah Riddick of Charlotte, NC;  brothers:  Jeffery Corbett of Atlanta, GA and Charles Corbett of   Wilmington, NC; aunts:  Mary Alice Davis of Wilmington, NC, Addie Mosely of Bolton, NC and Mirah Ennett of Detroit, MI; mother-in-law:  Vina Jacobs of East Arcadia, NC; sisters-in-law: Geneva Lacewell and Debbie Graham (Walter) both of East Arcadia; brothers-in-law:  Horace Jacobs, Adam Jacobs (Shantell) both of Charlotte, NC and Jimmie Jacobs (Whitney) of East Arcadia, NC along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Visitors are being received at the residence located at 24391 Hwy. 87 East Riegelwood, NC where they will also assemble in preparation for the Majestic Motorcade.
