Our family at Majestic Funeral Homes, joins with the Newkirk family to inform those concerned that Mr. Anthony Newkirk permanently changed his address from Earth to Glory on Thursday, while in New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.
Moments have been etched in time for family and friends to remember this special gem. On Wednesday, August 21, 2019, commencing at 12noon, a Service of Remembrance will take place at Moore’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Currie, NC. During these moments, family and friends can unite with the spirit of love and compassion to give comfort, as they begin to heal from loss of this vital link in their family’s chain. Although the Newkirk family’s tree will never be the same without Anthony, the Hymnologist said it best when he put pen to parchment and composed these Lordlike lyrics: “Ain’t it sweet just to know, one day we’ll meet, in that sweet by-and-by, we’ll be together....ain’t it sweet just to know, one day we’ll meet.
Loving memories will be always remain in the hearts of those dear to Mr. Newkirk such as: his wife Sherlene Newkirk; his mother Annie Newkirk and father Roland Newkirk; his children Antonette Newkirk, Shequeta McAllister, Montreal McAllister and Anthony McAllister; his sisters: Glenda Bowen (Sam), Darlene Newkirk, Taresa Hansley (William) and Pamela Daniels; 4 grandchildren and a host of other special relatives and friends.
Expressions of love through floral pieces, should be made in the form of a beautiful plant or table dish garden, in order that the family might watch it grow along with their faith in God as He helps them through this difficult time.
The Newkirk and connected families are being genuinely cared for by the Compassionate Professionals of Majestic Funeral Homes
