Welcome to the memorial page for

Ms. Pearline King

July 4, 1925 ~ January 11, 2018 (age 92) 92 Years Old

During this moment of sadness, the Majestic Funeral Home Family is offering genuine comfort to the remaining loved ones of Ms. Pearline King. Late Thursday night, Ms. King drifted off to sleep in the arms of her Savior as He stated “Come Unto Me, My Dear Child.”

The Obsequies for this Virtous Woman will held on Sunday at 2pm at Pleasant Union Missionary Baptist Church in East Arcadia, NC.  On Saturday between the hours of 3pm to 6pm has been designated by the family for those who wish to spend intimate moments and may do so in the main chapel on the campus of Majestic Funeral Establishment. The Master’s Promise has been revealed in Ms. King.  He promised three-score years and ten which is seventy years old and He said by reason of strength He would make it four-score years which equates to 80 years old. Ms. Pearline was truly a Godly woman because our Heavenly Father saw fit to allow her children, other family and friends to borrow her for 92 years. Now that she has finished her task here on earth, she is now sitting at the welcome table enjoying the feast and telling her story on how she made it over.

Left to cherish her memories are her children:  Norwood Keaton of Brooklyn, NY , Claude King  Jr., (Cornelia) of Plainfield, NJ,  John King (Sharon) of Willington, NJ, Leon King ( Valeria) of Riegelwood, NC, Pearley King ( Maxine) of Raleigh, NC, Freddie King (Margaret) of Willingboro, NJ, Shirley Wilburn (Anthony) of Fayetteville, NC, Eugenia Brown (Alfonza) of Riegelwood, NC, Oliver King of East Orange, NJ, Claudette Smith (George) of Elizabethtown, NC, James King of Riegelwood, NC and Carol Johnson of Kinston, NC; 54 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; two special children that she and her husband raised as their own:  Cleveland Dixon ( Laura) and James Dixon (Killer); one brother- in- law:  Austin Durant Bryant; Malik Kirkland (Nicole) “My Boy” as he was fondly called by her; a special friend:  Estella Graham and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Guests are being received at the residence located at 484 Bowen Blanks Rd. Riegelwood, NC where they will also assemble in preparation for the Majestic Ebony Motorcade.

The Compassionate Professionals of Majestic Funeral Home is working feverishly to accommodate all of this heartbroken family’s needs.
