Ms. Freda Donnetta Baldwin

Bowing in humbled submission to the will of our Heavenly Father, it has become the solemn responsibility of Majestic Funeral Home to inform all that Ms. Freda Donnetta Baldwin is now resting in paradise. Ms.Baldwin put down the cares of this life on Thursday afternoon at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC.

Ms. Baldwin’s family has reserved Saturday and Sunday April 28th and 29th as the days to celebrate her life. Commencing on Saturday from 4pm to 7pm in the main chapel on the campus of Majestic Funeral Establishment, family and friends may gather to reminisce on lasting memories while visiting with Ms. Donnetta. The events will climax on Sunday at 3pm with a Triumphant Farewell Celebration at First Baptist Church in Bladenboro, NC.  Following the formalities in the sanctuary, Mrs. Baldwin’s delicate temple along with her adored family will be escorted to the Davis Family Cemetery for Committal Rites. As difficult as it will be for her children and family to dismiss from this earthly resting place without Freda, all will find solace knowing she is in that land where there is a tree and its leaves are good for the healing of all infirmities. She will rest by the brook flowing with living water, forever resting in eternal paradise.

leaves to cherish her memories:  one daughter:  Rochelle Baldwin; two sons:  Keith Powell and Marcus Hill all of Bladenboro, NC; a stepmother:  Grace Baldwin of Bladenboro, NC; two brothers: Gregory Baldwin of Bladenboro, NC and Kenny Smith (Maria) of Spring Lake, NC; seven sisters:  Veronica Gillespie, Mariea Ruffin (Russell), Carrie Baldwin-Singletary (Harvey) all of Bladenboro, NC, Judia Purdie of Atlanta, GA, Angela McMillan of Southern Pines, NC, Barbara Lennon (Delwynne) of Raleigh, NC, Sherre Dinnerson-Dixon (Rick) of Tennessee; four grandchildren:  Ja’Quesia Baldwin and Ducati Baldwin of Bladenboro, NC, Daquan Powell and Yakira Powell, both of Lumberton, NC; two godsons:  Detrict Banner and Derrick Lewis, both of Bladenboro, NC; two goddaughters:  Charity Alford and Jessica Lewis, both of Fayetteville, NC and a special person that was like a son:  Detrict Purdie of Bladenboro, NC; three uncles; four aunts and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving guests at 117 Todd Britt Ct., Bladenboro, where they will also assemble in preparation for the Majestic Ebony Motorcade.
