Welcome to the memorial page for

Mrs. Quitisha McDowell

May 16, 2017

It is with sincere sadness that the Majestic Funeral Home Family serves notice to all, that Mrs. Quitisha McDowell affectionally known as  "Q", received her Certificate of Occupancy and moved into her brand new mansion in glory on Tuesday, May 16, 2017.

As orchestrated by the family, those who desire, may visit with Mrs. McDowell and express condolences to her heartbroken family on Saturday from 3pm-6pm at the A.B. Hobbs Memorial Chapel on the campus of Majestic Funeral Home.

The Triumphant Services to commemorate this marvelous jewel will be held on Sunday at 3pm at Elizabethtown Middle School. Immediately following the formal services, Mrs. McDowell's delicate vessel along with her adored family, will be escorted to First Baptist Church Cemetery for Interment Rites. It will be in this earthly resting place that "Q"'s physical temple will remain, until that Great Day, when the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, shall put one foot on a Crimson Cloud and the other foot on the Celestial Seas, calling all of His faithful children to rise and forever reign with Him in Glory.

She leaves to cherish her memories:  her husband:  Pastor Jerry L. McDowell, Jr.; one son: Braydan Tyrese McDowell; one daughter:  Carington Lynette McDowell both of Elizabethtown, NC; a maternal grandmother:  Annie Mae Daniels of Elizabethtown, NC, who raised her from a very young child; a mother-in-law:  Jacqueline McDowell, that she was very fond of; five aunts: Barbara Autry (Sister), Annie Conyers (Roger), Prophetess Katie Williams (Jimmy), Rena Rhodie, Teresa Jones all of Elizabethtown, NC, Connie Murphy (Darnell) of Capital Heights, MD; two uncles:  Thad Johnson (Barbara) of Trenton, NJ and James Daniels, Jr. of Raeford, NC; two sister-in-laws:  Sherika Melvin (Kenneth) and Shontele McDowell and a host of other relatives and friends.

Recently, she formed a special bond with her special sister, Shonna Scarborough.

The family will receive guests at 715 Newkirk St., Elizabethtown, where they will also assemble in preparation for the Majestic Ebony Motorcade. Mrs. McDowell's loving family is receiving services of compassion and distinguished class from The Majestic Servants of Service.
