Mrs. Mary Agnes (Smith) Murchison

With loving arms of compassion the Majestic Funeral Home Family is consoling the heartbroken devoted loved ones of Mrs. Mary A. Murchison as they prepare to take a journey that no one wishes to take. Mrs. Murchison closed the curtains of life Monday morning, March 19, 2018 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC. 

The “Dash” between Mrs. Mary’s year of birth and year of leaving this world will be honored on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 11am at Faith Temple Holiness Church, 10808 South Lathan St. in Clarkton, NC.  There, family and friends can gather to console each other while reminiscing on happier memories with Mrs. Murchison.  Although it will be a major adjustment for Mr. Murchison and the adored children with Mrs. Mary no longer being present to enjoy precious moments, all can find comfort realizing she is sitting at the Welcome Table with all of the saints that have gone on before her, patiently waiting to give her testimony while beholding the Master’s Glory as she receives her golden keys and her crown of righteousness.

Left to cherish her fond memories: her husband:  Edward Lee Murchison; three daughters:  LaCristial (Clifton) Hall, Lenora (Kevin) Baldwin and    Sherrella Murchison; her mother: Retha B. Smith; four sisters: Nora (Carl) Pone, Genise Carter, Gladys (Donnie) Cromartie and Linda Smith; three brothers: Donald Smith, Michael (Girlie) Smith and Allen (Pamela) Smith; two   sisters-in-law: June Marie Murchison, Bessie Rhoda; two brothers-in-law: Glenn (Tracy) Murchison , Lee (Rosa) Murchison; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; two special friends: Bertina Faulk and Glenda Lennon.

Guests are being received at 52 Harris Rd., Clarkton, NC where they will also assemble in preparation for the Majestic Ebony Funeral Cortège.
