The moment has come and the Majestic Funeral Home Family has been given the solemn duty to announce, that Mrs. Ida Walters is no longer troubled with the cares of this world but she is now resting among the Heavenly Host. Mrs. Walters began her life of everlasting peace on Friday night, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.

The Services honoring Mrs. Walter's legacy will begin with hours of visiting on Friday, between the hours of 5pm and 8pm at the funeral establishment. During this time, family and friends can gather and remember better days with Mrs. Walters while relying on their faith to get them through this difficult time. On Saturday commencing at 1pm, a Loving Farewell Ceremony will take place at First Baptist Church in Bladenboro.  Following the services in the sanctuary, Mrs. Ida’s delicate temple along with her adored family will be escorted to the Brooklyn Cemetery for Interment Rites.  It is far too soon that this family will have to make this journey yet again.  However, the Master promised to give them comfort knowing that Mrs. Ida is reunited with her grandson Derek and both are sitting around the Throne free from the troubles of this world.

Left to cherish her memories are her two daughters:  Judy Brown (Maress) and Patricia Jones (William) both of Bladenboro, NC; one granddaughter:  Kizzie Brown; one grandson:  Maress, Jr.; nine great grandchildren; one sister in-law:  Catherine Walters and a host of other relatives and friends.
