As the day draws closer to the end than when it began, the Majestic Family joins with loving arms wrapped around the relatives of Ms. Annie Jefferson, as we embark on the “Last Mile” on this side of the Jordan with her. Ms.Jefferson got her ticket and stepped on that morning train before dawn,Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC.
Services to reflect on “The Dash” of Ms.Jefferson’s life which was from her time of birth until the moment she entered into everlasting rest are finalized by her cherished family and are as follows. This coming Saturday evening, April 21, 2018 between the hours of 4pm to 7pm, tender moments of reflection will take place on the campus of Majestic Funeral Home. While there, relatives and friends can unite in love and support for each other as they prepare to say “farewell." On Sunday afternoon, April 22, 2018 commencing at 2pm, there will be a Triumphant Legacy Celebration at Cromartie Hill AME Zion Church in Clarkton, N.C. Following the services in the house of God, Mrs. Jefferson’s delicate temple along with her adored family will be escorted to the Cromartie Hill Church Cemetery for Interment Rites. Mrs. Annie was so much to so many and it will be difficult with her no longer being with us on this side. However, those who loved her can find solace knowing although she enjoyed cutting her grass and maintaining her yard down here, she is now strolling the streets paved with pure gold free from all of life’s fitful fevers. Yes, everyone will miss her wonderful cooking but she has exchanged her cooking apron for a long white robe and is sitting at the Welcome Table feasting on Milk and Honey.
Annie leaves to cherish her memories: three sons: Kenneth, Ricky and Walter; three daughters: Theresa, Stephanie (Douglas Tatum) and LaTonya; sixteen grandchildren: Kimberlee (Chris McCallum), Tammoraih, Torres, Ta’Quay, Ricky Jr., Raneisha, Cruz, Jha’Bari, Zamarys, Shemar, Cameron, Jamiya, Elicia, Doc’Quan, India and Alayzhia; fourteen: great-grand children; four sisters: Willie Mae, Mary, Margaret and Janice; three brothers: William, Stacy and Wilbert (Doris); one godsister: Shirley Murchison (Joe) and a host of nieces, nephews ,cousins, friends and a special and devoted friend, Clara Staten.
